Simple Apple Cake

One of the fruits that I think we should have in the fridge is the apple.

You can use it in various menus both savory and sweet, bake, boil or turn it into a sauce, it's my favorite fruit.

And today, I use it again, haha.

But I only turned it into a simple cake.

If you read the recipe, you can see that this cake is based on a basic pound cake recipe with some adjustment. We replace some part of the sugar with the honey and add more flour to hold the fruit.
To make the cake more beautiful, we place half of the apple over the cake. But if you place it before the top of the cake becomes set, it will sink. So we bake the cake only for a short time, so your apple slices will be kept in place.
If you want your cake to glaze cake (like mine), just melt the orange or apricot jam, brush it over the top of the cake, and let the jam set before serving.
